There are many "freedom" groups in the four counties making up Wessex. Determined individuals and teams have worked hard to set them up and run them.
The aim of this website is to bring people, news and events from Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Isle of Wight into one site which unlike Telegram and other messaging apps is not an open invitation for outside agents to harvest data.
This website allows you to join free as an individual (although vetted) and groups/assemblies can set up their own private group areas under the menu item "Groups".
You can configure them as restricted or open and charge a subscription if that is relevant. There is a payment mechanism built-in and is linked to Community Assembly Ringwood's bank account. We can maintain your account and promptly transfer your revenues.
The site is based on the Mighty Networks community platform which is consistently voted in the top three of hosted membership sites. Hosted platforms are much easier to use, plus we don’t need to worry about any of the technical stuff like hosting, site speed, maintenance, payments systems, databases or security.
It is relatively intuitive to use and you can keep your finger on the pulse of freedom groups' activities in the region. Trying to follow Telegram Groups is very time-consuming.
Join as an individual to get access to regional and national events and news and also apply to join your local group, too, in the "Groups" section.
Fragmentation will make us all weaker and this is one of the few hosted sites that gives you cost-effective membership to start with. Your local group or assembly might need to charge access to their "Group" just to keep funds flowing. We aim to promote coordination in action, events, news and information which, until now, has been a time-consuming job. Help us by joining.
